Making Cognitive Connections: World Clocks App

The Clock app is a very cool app that many people don't use to its full potential. It includes clocks for various time zones, alarms, a stopwatch, and a countdown timer. You're probably wondering, "Why do I need all these options?" The various Clock app options can be used individually or together to help you learn about and apply time management skills to your everyday life.

Inspiration Introduction

Inspiration is the most popular program I teach my students. My students love it because it gives them an easy and fun way to organize their thoughts. It is the concept-mapping program I referred to in the brainstorming articles over the last two newsletters. Inspiration is available for Windows-based computers and makes brainstorming and/or concept maps easy to create. Inspiration 9, the latest version, has many great features including diagram, outline, and mind map modes.
